Responsible for all aspects except fruits and plate model

Rendered in VRay, modeled in Maya, textured in Substance Painter, Photoshop and composite in Nuke. 

The scene is based on a pirates theme with the fruits as the main subject. The fruits and the plate was a given model. I wanted to create a playful theme. I first started with the reference images that defines as pirates, such as darts, dagger, eye ball, gold coin, map and lantern.

Textures

I unwrap the image first and make adjustments of texture map in Photoshop. I also create diffuse and bump map on specific objects, then further adjust on the shaders in VRay materials. 

Lighting Pass

To make the scene more focus on the fruit, I placed the candle at front as the keylight, this makes the scene more dramatic. There is also a back light inside the lantern that brings more warmth in the scene and helps to bring lights to the subsurtace scatter of the grapes.
